What a 9ONE0 Check covers, and what it doesn’t.
9ONE0 is a safety intelligence platform and private dating journal built for women. Every report is built from public and licensed records. 9ONE0 does not read their messages, track their location, or tell you who they are as a person. It tells you what the record says, so you can see where it and their story might differ.
Carrier, line type, and whether the line is still connected. A VoIP line is flagged, because a second, disposable number is worth knowing about.
The name on record, age, the other names and spellings attached to the same record, and the personal email addresses that appear on it.
Where they have lived, when each address was first and last reported, the county, and which address is current. Each is labeled as a home or an office where the record says which.
For their current address: who is on the deed, purchase price and date, assessed value, and the building itself, beds, baths, square footage, lot size and year built. Being linked to a property is not the same as owning it, and the report keeps the two apart.
Arrests, convictions, warrants and sex offender records. These are searched by name, so each is checked against their age and the states they have lived in, and the report shows how well it lines up. A record that matches the name alone is counted, not listed. Each record shows the charge and the court outcome apart, and says so when no outcome is on file: a charge is not a conviction. Serious records link to the court’s own case search so you can check them yourself. Traffic tickets, and court cases where the source does not say what the charge was, are listed on their own and never counted as criminal.
State registry records carried by the criminal records search. If that search does not complete, the report says the registry was not checked. It never reports a failed check as clear.
Eviction filings linked to this name on record.
Federal court dockets, with the case, the court, when it was filed and whether it is still open. Matched by name, so each case needs confirming as them.
Marriage and divorce records, and the relatives and associates the record links to them. A marriage record shows a marriage was recorded, not that it is current, and the report says so. From a report you ran, you can tap a relative to run a 9ONE0 Check on them, which uses one of your 9ONE0 Checks like any other.
Employment where the record carries it, professional licenses, and the business entities linked to this name on record.
What we don’t check
Their messages, their photos, their location, or anything else on their phone.
Their dating app activity. Nobody can see that, and anyone selling it is lying to you.
Credit scores, bank balances, income, bankruptcies, liens or judgments.
Political donations.
Their social media profiles. You can look those up yourself.
Medical, therapy or pharmacy records.
Anything that would need their password, their consent, or a warrant.
Whether they are a good person. The record cannot answer that, and neither can we.
Residents of some states. 9ONE0 can’t show results for residents of Oregon, Connecticut, New Jersey and Vermont yet.
What the colors mean
Nothing concerning showed up in the sources we checked. It is not a character reference: it describes the records, not the person.
At least one thing showed up, and none of it is serious: an internet (VoIP) phone line, an eviction, an open federal court case, or a criminal charge the record says was dismissed or ended in a not-guilty. Your report says which one it was.
A sex offender registry listing, or a criminal record that lines up with their name, age and location and was not dismissed or found not guilty, makes it red on its own. It is never averaged away by everything else coming back clean.
Sources: a licensed public records provider for identity, addresses, property, criminal, court, marriage and business records; CourtListener for federal dockets. Coverage varies by person and by state. A section with nothing in it means the record is empty, not that they are hiding something, and the report says which is which. Where a check could not be completed at all, it is reported as unchecked rather than as clear.
